I think that everything said was very reasonable. However, what about this? what if you added a little information? I mean, I don't wish to tell you how to run your blog, however suppose you added a headline to possibly grab a person's attention? I mean New Blog Post by SXY is a little plain. You could look at Yahoo's front page and note how they create post headlines to grab viewers to click. You might add a video or a related pic or two to grab people interested about everything've written. Just my opinion, it could bring your posts a little bit more interesting.
